چکیده
Abstract Introduction The Peritoneal Carcinomatosis Index (PCI) is used for the selection of candidates cytoreductive surgery (CRS)+HIPEC and as a prognostic resectability. accuracy MDCT (Multidetector Computed Tomography) evaluated by analyzing degree correlation between preoperative PCIr surgical PCIs. Methods We conducted an observational, longitudinal, single-center retrospective study May 2014 2018 on patients operated upon peritoneal carcinomatosis. Preoperative TCDM were interpreted expert radiologist PCIs calculated intraoperatively. Comparison was performed using Concordance Correlation Coefficient (CCC). Bland-Altman method to represent difference observations, with 95% confidence interval (CI). sensitivity specificity <20 predictor resectability also assessed. Results Mean 50 undergoing CRS+HIPEC 11.8 (9.5), mean 11.0 (10.1). CCC both 0.94 (95% CI 0.91–0.97). Sensitivity 0.82 (95%CI 0.68–0.92), being resectable 37/40 <20. Specificity fell 0.40 0.05–0.85), failing achieve complete cytoreduction in 2/10 ≥20. Positive predictive value 0.92 0.80–0.98), negative 0.20 0.03–0.56). Conclusions indispensable tool who are CRS+HIPEC. A ≥20 not synonymous unresectability.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE This study evaluates whether Computer Tomography is an effective procedure for preoperative staging of patients with Peritoneal Carcinomatosis. METHOD A sample of 37 patients was analyzed with contrast enhanced abdominal Computer Tomography, followed by surgical staging. All Computer Tomography scans were evaluated 3 times by 2 radiologists with one radiologist review...
